Simple top down stockinette cardigan that lets you get creative with your yarns! Find an awesome combination of colours that makes you happy!
The ombré effect is achieved by holding one strand of fingering weight yarn with one strand of fuzzy mohair (Hedgehog Fibres Alpaca Boucle would be great too!) in three different colours and striping the mohair between the colour transitions, while the fingering weight yarn remains the same.

To be worn with 2’’ of ease so the S size actual measurement is 34”, tthe garment is designed to be roomy at the back and fall open at the front.
Length: S is 18” but can be adjusted to suit, you might need more yarn if adding length
YARN
3 [3, 3, 4, 4] [5, 5, 6, 6] – skeins of Hedgehog Fibres Sock Yarn (90% Merino, 10% Nylon, 100g/400m), held double with 3 [3, 3, 4, 4] [5, 5, 6, 6] – skeins of Hedgehog Fibres Kidsilk Lace (70% Mohair, 30% Silk, 50g/420m).
The colours pictured are Sock Yarn in Cereal, held together with Kid- silk in and Pet Rock, Juniper and Hawk.
NEEDLE
US6 / 4 mm needles, 32” circular needle
Same needle and magic loop technique to knit the sleeves in the round, (double pointed needles if preferred)
Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge.
GAUGE SIZE
21 sts and 28 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch, blocked lightly by washing and laying flat to dry
